BCHPCA 2023 Wildflower Bloom Campaign Information Session

REGISTER TODAY HERE!

This year marks the third annual Wildflower Bloom Campaign to raise awareness of the many services hospice societies offer, while also providing an opportunity to fundraise. Once again, the BCHPCA and participating hospice societies, and new this year, Affiliate and individuals (including volunteers and students) members will be selling wildflower seeds to bloom in appreciation of hospice societies across B.C. and the Yukon. Wildflower Bloom lapel pins will also be available for purchase to show support for local hospices. This year our pins are bigger and better and have already been attractive conversation starter for Ministerial officials.

Wildflower Bloom Campaign - The month of April

The Campaign will take place during the month of April, giving you the choice to use the wildflower seeds and lapel pins during your own community Wildflower Bloom Campaign in April or perhaps during Hike for Hospice and new this year, Affiliate and individuals (including volunteers and students) members in May. Participating hospices will again have the autonomy to develop their own unique campaigns within their communities.

Building from last years success and reach, our message of our campaign is hospice services are as diverse as wildflowers. Continuing from the Grief, Bereavement & Mental Health Summit in 2021 and the Fraser Federation of Hospice Education Day event in 2022, we will also be incorporating a focus on Grief and Bereavement support offered by hospice societies into our provincial communications. Participating hospices will be provided with a communications toolkit to help support their community campaigns.

Webinar Session - February 23 from 11:30 - 12:30 (PST)

BCHPCA will be hosting an information session on February 23 from 11:30-12:30 to talk about the campaign and how you can be part of this years event, but this also allows new and existing members to be part of the conversation and ask questions about the campaign.
