2slgbtqia+ resources for end-of-life planning and hospice palliative care

Kimberly D. Acquaviva authored this book in 2017. It is rare to find a book dedicated to LGBTQ care, especially hospice and palliative care. This book was recommended to Adam, who now wants to recommend it to anyone who works in end-of-life care.

Check out Columbia University Press for more information.

If several within your hospice society are interested, a reading group would be an excellent way to read, reflect and discuss the content and reflection questions provided by Kimberly Acquaviva.

 Proud, Prepared, and Protected

The Canadian Virtual Hospice has an excellent collection of resources for 2SLGBTQIA+ people, allies, healthcare providers and others working in End of Life care. Visit the Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ webpage to see articles and short videos from people within 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

There is also MyGrief.ca, which has a module about Grief in 2SLGBTQ+ Communities.
